Explore the park and surroundings of Kilkenny Castle on Culture Night

Join me to explore the park and surroundings of Kilkenny Castle. We will walk around the park, stop at certain places for meditation on sound and other senses. We will look closely at colour in the surroundings and look at details of natural objects. In our note books we record what we feel, see, touch and hear in words and visual note taking.

There is no pressure to draw in a normal sense but instead the participants will be encouraged to enjoy the process of what the hand and mind can create while observing the surroundings. Our senses can inspire us.

Participants are asked to bring along a notebook and a sitting mat (a yoga mat or similar). Please wear comfortable, warm outdoor clothing that suits the weather. All art supplies will be included. This activity will be weather-dependant; it is possible that the date may change. Places are limited to 10 participants. 

The meeting place will be at the National Design and Craft Gallery, Castle Yard, Kilkenny.
