This series of three 2-hour online block-printing workshops will have you bursting with creative energy in these times when we can not meet for activities in-person. Using different techniques and approaches you will make your very own pattern blocks and then experiment with different repeat printing layouts and colour combinations. It’s fun, easy, meditative and it’s hard to stop when you get started! We will print on both paper and fabric. You will be sent fabric dyes, rubber to cut print blocks from and a starter pack of fabrics. You need to provide your own lino-cutting tool with interchangeable nibs . (These can be ordered from https://www.bakerross.ie/lino-handle-and-cutters.) Block-printing does not require a big space, so its easy to work from the kitchen table.
No experience necessary.
This course takes place 3 Fridays in a row, starting on November 6th.
